Thank God the rain is back. All of my neigbours are busy planting maize, beans and sorghum in their farms. I however have different plans. I want to plant sugarcane and passion fruit (for my planned juice business), kales and tomatoes. I hope these will payoff well, plus they will mature early. Is it planting season in your area? Any idea how I can ensure my sugarcane grows well?

Sounds like a solid plan! Sugarcane and passion fruit could be great choices for a juice business. You may need to analyse the market there for these ones. In my area, the planting season depends on the region, but many farmers prepare for crops during the rainy period. To ensure your sugarcane grows well, start with high-quality seed cane and plant in well-drained, fertile soil. Regular watering, especially in dry spells, and proper spacing should help them to thrive. Applying organic manure can help with and sugar content. Weed control is going to be crucial, as sugarcane competes poorly with weeds in their early stages. Pest and disease management are a must to ensure a healthy crop. Wish you success in your farming and juice business!

That sounds interesting. What kind of juice will you have for sale?
Here we wait until the snow is off the mountains and then it is time to plant.

I will mostly use cocktails, and wont be using manufactured sugar; i wil be adding sugarcane directly to fruit extracts, then add water to ideal taste.
