Being a poet I tend to create rhymes around my life's experiences. I invite you to challenge yourself and try it out . Here is a rhyme about our family's last Christmas gathering. Anyone out there with some unusual family gatherings (rhymes not necessary)? "Christmas Gathering 2024" Good things are now in store for us at Carla's house today. Good things like fun and fellowship and food along the way. The food will be especially good 'cause it was made with love By all who are attending there and blessed by God, above. Fun will be had by one and all as games will be the way That makes us all forget the bad that happens during the day. When we arrive, we'll have a welcome you will not forget. Excitement from 3 barking dogs will be the best one yet. One of the best of all the perks we'll find while we are here Is all the love and joy we'll feel by friends and family, dear. But best of all, is why we come to celebrate with joy. We'll celebrate the birth of Jesus, Mary's baby boy. By Carl J. Bridgman Dec. 21, 2024

I like sad songs. Just ask @Vandana7. It's nice to read an optimistic poem that reminds me of enjoyable gatherings.

Thank you for your response S. Adleman. I've heard that one of the few words that can't be rhymed is the word "orange". However, I can come close by this phrase: "Would you like an orange or a bowl of porridge".

It definitely was an uplifting, heart warming experience. I wish the horse could feel that experience.
