No local news this evening, just broadcasts about storms.

The wind is so bad that we have a lot of blowing dust. The weather guys are out in their stormtracker vehicles and such, trying to keep us updated. Of course, I don't want a tornado! But I am thankful we have such great weather coverage. They think it may inch around us, but time will tell.
The main threat now appears to be possibly some big hail soon.
I'm just hoping for no damages from these winds and no power outages.
Snow/sleet possible later on tonight. Weird, because it's 60 degrees right now!
Are you supposed to get storms this evening?

We're getting storms interspersed with rain since early this afternoon with strong winds gusting up to 40 mph. No mention of tornadoes today.
We started out at 62F this morning and the temp started dropping before noon. We're supposed to reach 30F this evening and see snow this evening and overnight. It's 32F at 8:30 pm and still raining.

@MarieCoyle It has been snowing here for several hours now but we'll be in the 50s tomorrow afternoon so it won't last here, either.
The Weather Channel says we've still go 20 mph winds gusting up to 40 mph at times.
The RealFeel is 21F right now.

It's in the 30's now...snowing lightly. But at any rate, it will melt tomorrow. Still rather windy, makes it seem way colder than it is.

That's a trip. We may get a thunderstorm tomorrow. I doubt our weather will be too wild, but I do know Friday will be under 60.

We had hail about a half an hour ago. It was loud and came down hard, but I don't think it tore anything up or did damage. My car is in the garage, so it wasn't hailed on.

Thank God, they weakened by the time they got here. There was a tornado warning up around Columbus, Indiana, though (where we used to have a Putt Putt course).

We are OK. Just mostly big winds and black sky...we did have hail but luckily not large hail. Now that it's all winding down, we are having a bit of snow to finish up with. Our power did go out for about 90 minutes, but hey, that's nothing to complain about, considering all the damage this past week that so many have had, with all the lives lost. Yes, we are OK, thanks so much!

I hope that all those who lost homes, businesses, or jobs or all of those things, get the help they need. We've really had such widespread storms lately. I am glad you didn't get slapped by them, for sure!

I think it's been windy here for nearly 2 weeks. Which is bad, because now everything is very dry and we are almost always under a fire warning.

Where I used to live, we had a basement. Here, no basement, so we go to the larger bathroom if it gets terrible. It is supposedly the safest place and near no windows or doors.

Judy, we got lucky this time! But when they are forecasted, I always pay attention. Too many have hit so very close here over the years. It makes a person take extra precautions.

At least we know that this time of year, if it does snow it will melt right away. Everything here is still extremely dry from all of the bad windy days we've had.
