Sore Tummy

But it is worth it. I have one stretch of the dog pen done now. Those panels are heavy even to drag. My tummy and legs got a workout. This area of the pen I worried about the most as Patch border collie liked to test the wire. And it wasn't very heavy. She can't move those panels.
I also dropped the last big panel and started cutting it. When I have it cut down I will use the 2 taller pieces to reinforce the corners of the dog pen. I also plan on putting my chain link panels on each end. That's the next areas that Patch likes to test.
I have figured out what to do for a grow out pen too. So Friday I will work in the coop and then getting some of the panels on the dog pen. I have cattle fence panels there that I want to use in the coop for the grow out pen. So I am hoping sometime next week I can move the young ones outside.
As you can tell I made use of the nice day. We got to 68 today. Tonight we will drop to around 47. The next few days are supposed to be cooler. Tomorrow I will do the grocery shopping and get another roll of hardware cloth.
Hope you had a good day.

That sounds like a ton of work, I would be sore, too. It's too bad you couldn't get George to help out!

Everything went well today!! The storms are past us now, and I’m watching it sn*w in Iowa.

Sounds like a productive day! Those heavy panels must’ve been a workout, but it’s great that Patch won’t be able to test the fence anymore. Your setup is really coming together! Hope the weather stays decent for your next round of work! :)
