Two Mothers

A few months back ;while managing my store; I saw two mothers. On the branches of a huge tree right in front of my shop a sparrow couple have made their nest. That day the mother sparrow suddenly started chirping and flying around her nest. I noticed she was trying to prevent a cat; who was trying to reach the nest from approaching near the nest and eat her eggs. I knew the poor sparrow would not be able to scare away the cat. I pelted a stone at the cat. The cat immediately jumped down the branch and ran away. Just two days back I saw a cow moving along from in front of my store with her calf. The calf seemed to be born just a few days ago. It looked so beautiful. A naughty boy saw the calf and began following the cow stealthily. Suddenly the cow turned belegerently back and came between her calf and the boy. Now the little calf was shielded by his mother. The cow rushed towards the boy who ran away. A mother does everything to save her children. The little sparrow and the cow were mothers.

It's rightly said that God cannot be there all the times to safeguard us, so he made Mothers. . And after being a mother myself, I realised some of internal strength and grit that I would have never realised.

I fully agree. What a mother can do for her children; a father can't. The word "mother" is another name of God. Her love for her children is incomparable. It has the warmth we need to survive. I lack words to describe what a mother is. You are a mother yourself. You better understand it. You have the devine love for your children. I understand; but can't express it in words.

I'm glad the two babies were OK. And hopefully the naughty boy didn't try that again.

He fled just the cow chased him. I don't know him. I'm sure he would never follow a cow moving along with her calf.

That's a beautiful story! It's amazing how fiercely protective mothers are, whether they're sparrows or cows. Your actions to help the sparrow were so kind. It's heartwarming to see that instinct in action.

@sw8sincere It is my mother who took to the primary school and got me admitted there. And it was she who taught me how to write in Hindi and how to add; subtract; multiply and divide numbers.
