It's Officially Spring ...

Happy Spring and of course Happy Thursday! we've gotten through those long winter months and we can still get some winter weather but it's just nice seeing that it's officially Spring as of today. I did get to spend some time outside yesterday and even had the windows open and I think the house was happy to finally have some fresh air too.
My day has started off pretty good. Last weeks donation boxes that we left out weren't picked up so we had to reschedule for today. Happy to say they have already been picked up and one less thing to worry about.
I got a decent night sleep (not great but good enough).
I'm working on my second cup of coffee and I don't feel like I'm dragging my butt. Looks like I'll get some things accomplished and since we put the trash out tonight I'll get that all done so we only have to get the bins to the curb.
For just two people sometimes I'm amazed at how much trash we make in a week.
Of course some of it is Amazon boxes (ok, maybe most of it is Amazon boxes 
)
When my oldest daughter was shopping in Michaels the other day she passed the yarn aisle and took a picture of some very pretty yarn she thought I might like. I went online and it does look really nice so I have a few skeins in my cart and have to get up and get my gift card before I can check out. The yarn is on sale (buy one get one 50% off), free shipping and Rakuten is offering a cash back. Add in my gift card and I'm definitely in a win win.
The skeins are such pretty spring colors so it will be fun working with them.
That about sums up what's going on here. Nothing exciting just a routine day.

We got a nasty one a couple days ago but when I was talking to my friend in NE she asked if I'd rather get a blizzard ........... uhhh, no, I may not like sandstorms but it beats freezing my tootsies off.

The sun keeps trying to peek out but only doing a half-hearted job of it. It is 13°C/55°F so no where near as warm as yesterday. I might sit out for a bit, if it's not windy. It might rain, but at least that's better than snow.

Today isn't as warm as yesterday and the sun is doing the same as you (peeking in and out). Rain expected here but some parts of Pennsylvania might get snow.

Weather is fine. I went out or a walk this morning and then went to the supermarket. Hachez dark chocolate is on sale. I bought two bars. Just to give myself a treat.

It is always nice to get a good night's sleep. It is amazing how much trash people(three here) make in a week. It does accumulate rather quickly.

Officially spring? Then why was I being pelted with sleet pellets when I took the trash out this afternoon?

Sounds like a nice, cozy day ahead with some yarn shopping in the mix – love the spring colors you're eyeing! And yes, Amazon boxes do seem to multiply! Spring is the best part of the year. Unfortunately, it is very short here, hardly a month or more. Spring is already gone in our side and it's warm summer here.
