I don't regret the moments I captured, but rather the ones I didn't! I have thousands of pictures on my phone, memories captured and preserved! Some of those people captured are no longer with us! But I have the memories, and many memories captured on film cameras some a century old! Life is fragile, messy and often beautiful, and tomorrow is a gift we don't all get to see! In the picture is my Aunt who passed away Wednesday, she's the one putting bunny ears on my Mom, funny how my favorite pictures are the goofy ones, the one when we were making a cake for my cousins tenth birthday, and my Aunt decides to dunl my face into the cake batter! I still have that pictured tucked away somewhere, and the image is forever burned in my mind, but that was a good memory, a fun one, when her humor shined through! There are other memories, harder ones I choose not to share, painful ones, but I am not the one who needs to tell these stories! Over ten years ago I lost a friend who was like a brother and I created a slideshow of memories using the song as background at his service! When We All Get to Heaven was the song, and it seeks fitting I share it now! And on that note goodnight, the last couple of nights getting to sleep has been a battle, but I'm determined tonight will be different!
