A hard Surgery

I had a very hard surgery last Monday. I thought I would bounce back fairly easily, but it was complicated, so it's taking me a while to adjust to the new aches and pains. I'm allergic to so many medications, that I only have a couple of pain meds I can take and I'm taking it and it is not easing the pain.
I have a bladder disease call interstitial cystitis. So they implanted a sacral nerve stimulator into my hip with leads going into my spine to tell my brain that my bladder is functioning properly even though it is not. I had two, and they removed both of them and only gave me one in return because technology as advance so I only need the one now. But during the surgery, the leads to the old interstims kept breaking and that caused digging around in my back to get them out. If they had been left in there I would still not be able to have an MRI, but with them out, and the new ones put in, I can now have an MRI. Not that I need one, but if I do in the future, it will be available to me, thankfully.
The pain I'm suffering from the surgery is so bad that I'm eating my pain meds. I'm also taking muscle relaxers and trying to move around as much as possible to work the soreness out, but it is hard. The pain is excruciating and I'm barely walking with a walker.
Has anyone here had anything similar? I'd love to connect and chat about it.
I have to go lie down. I've been up too long to suit my back. Catch up later.

I have problems with a lot of medications. If I'm given too much of any one type, I have allergic reactions to it. That's always fun.
I hope you feel better quickly.

This sounds torture..I too have IC, but never got any surgery.
Mine is controlled with a nerve deadener in pill form.
I am so sorry about what you are suffering!!
