I requested for Work at Home for 2 weeks - actually it did not come from me. I was told by the other supervisor that she requested her subordinate about the work at home set up. Her subordinate reports to the office 5 days a week. While I only report 2 days a week.
Why there was such a request.
This week the traffic was heavy specially at the Expressway.
According to the update, the repair would take 2 weeks.
A truck carrying loads hit the bottom of the bridge and got damaged. This caused heavy traffic.
I was there, stuck in the traffic afternoon of March 19 and morning of March 20. It was exhausting.

@jobelbojel Let the road settle first I hope. Hybrid seems to be a good option.

@id_peace yes it is a good option. But the best is fulltime work at home.

I read the update from the management FB page that the lanes were already opened. So I am not sure if I can still work from home or go back with the hybrid set up, 2 days per week.

I hope you enjoy not having to take that long trip to work and then home again.

The director, my boss, agreed that it was a valid reason.
