Sunday noon: a long visit from my daughter.

I was about to get in the shower when my daughter Claudia told me that she was at the door and to, please, open the garage as she had forgotten her key. We had a long visit. And for once Claudia only smoked one cigarette as she is not allowed to smoke inside the house and she could not keep away from the puzzle pieces in the dining room. I remembered that decades ago I crocheted several quilts so that I could not smoke while doing it. It did not work then though. I stopped smoking much later when I found out that I either smoked or had holidays. I then spent more money in ciggies than in food and my husband, the main provider in our house, had passed away. I chose then air fare and continued going to Aruba. In a while I´ll check what to have for lunch. An omelette could be a good thing. And I have all sorts of veggies including a beautiful brocoli. That could be a good side for the omelette. What will you have today for lunch?
