Police rescue a poodle who went swimming in a river

The Garfield Police Department and the Garfield Fire Department answered an emergency call about a pink poodle who jumped into the Passaic River on Monday March 3.
The owner of the poodle who answers to the name Molly who ran away from her home in the afternoon after Molly was seen running on the streets.
Molly jumped into the Passaic River and she stopped swimming when she went to an island when the Garfield Firefighter Company used a boat to rescue Molly and reunited the dog with her owner.

Wow, that must have been a stressful day for Molly’s owner! Glad the firefighters were able to rescue her safely. What a lucky pup!

Perhaps the dog was tired from running and swimming and so went for a rest on the island. It was good that it was rescued without too much trouble.
