Rainy Monday

Happy Monday Everyone! it's a rainy start to this week and it's very dismal day outside. Makes me feel blah.
The weekend flew by as most of them do.
My daughter spent an overnight with a few friends so I had a good portion of the weekend to myself. I didn't do anything but relax 
I caught up on all the tv shows that I had fallen behind on and even managed to catch a movie on Netflix with Harry Connick Jr. (Find Me Falling)
I didn't even cook and reheated some leftover meatloaf and mashed potatoes.
Yesterday was my youngest grandsons 17th birthday and he's the one who comes here an helps my son with all the projects. I briefly talked to him to wish him a Happy Birthday and he was out snowboarding with some friends. He has a great sense of adventure just like his oldest brother.
In my line of grandkids there's only one granddaughter younger than him and she'll be 16 in June. I say how fast time flies all the time and it's crazy when each grandkid has a birthday. Seems like only yesterday they were toddlers.
I don't have much planned for this rainy day so we'll see how much or how little I get done

It's crazy how grown up they are now. I do miss those younger years but I have a different relationship with them now as they've gotten older.

Rainy here today too, I think it will rain the majority of the week actually. Not sure though, was just going to check the forecast. Good thing we aren't the only ones getting older..

@Marilynda1225 I'll probably be at the shuddering stage in another 10 years, right now I am just in the not pleased stage, but hey it is what it is, as they say.

I am working on sharing news stories as well as sweating out the heat inside the home even though the rooms have fans to cool off the heat inside the home while an air conditioner repairman is working on repairing the air conditioner this afternoon.

Happy Monday to you too! Sounds like you had a nice and relaxing weekend—sometimes those are the best kind. Watching shows, catching a movie, and just taking it easy sounds like a perfect way to unwind.
Belated happy birthday to your grandson! Snowboarding on his birthday must have been a blast. It’s great that he has such a sense of adventure, just like his older brother. Time really does fly—one minute they’re little kids running around, and the next thing you know, they’re teenagers with their own plans and hobbies.
It’s the complete opposite here—hot and sunny! It feels like summer is in full swing, and stepping outside is like walking into an oven. Definitely the kind of weather that makes you want to stay indoors with a cold drink and the AC on full blast.
No big plans for me either, but sometimes those unplanned days turn out to be the most relaxing. I hope the rest of your day turns out to be a good one! What show are you catching up on lately?

I hate those hot days when you dont even want to step outside. Hopefully we'll enjoy some nice weather before those summer days arrive. Right now I'm just happy not to be watching the news to see if we'll be getting snow

I've just done the same old stuff here; wash dishes, clean the kitchen and wipe down the stove.
We had rain this weekend but it's sunny this morning but supposed to cloud back up this afternoon. I wish Mother Nature would make up her mind.

It's hot today. Temperature up to 29C! Will continue to be hot in the next few days. But temperature will drop to 15C towards the weekend.

I hope that you had a great time during your Grandson's birthday!
Here clouds do come sometimes yet we had very less rains during the last 3 months.
It doesn't rains much here from December to March but it doesn't rains so less also.
As of now, we have got One of our ACs serviced & readied for the long summers & watching a movie while also being active on Mylot.
