Have you set your totally arbitrary financial goal for March 2025?

March will be a pretty normal month for me financially. I had one music gig, and I completed one speaker restoration, so I have an extra $300 or so in cash to deposit in the bank.
That, and my earnings from other sources, will put me in a position to buy some fixed income funds that yield about 4.5 percent. The yield curve is pretty flat right now, so it doesn't matter whether I buy 3-month or 6-month funds. These investments are insured, so there is no risk of losing my entire investment.
My dentist is hounding me to come and get some crowns put on, but my insurance does no currently pay for that dentist. I have to decide what work to have done with him (he has been my dentist for a couple of decades) and what to have done by someone I do not know.
Do you have your finances in order for March 2025?

Maybe... 33 cents would get me to the finish line and as there are still 7 days till April Fool's day, it's possible.

@TheHorse Well, I've had my taxes done, I don't owe any and I'll be getting various rebates throughout the year. My Old Age Security payments are sufficient, and I get a bit from the Canada Pension Plan, too. I don't smoke or drive, not a fashionista, don't need the latest electronic gadget, don't go to the movies, I have free health care, in fact, I don't do a lot of things that cost money, so yeah, I'd say my finances are in order for March, April, May, etc.

@BarBaraPrz Maybe I'll move to Canada. As I have often mentioned, many of the best American musicians are actually from Canada.

Let's see. . . I get a paltry amount of Social Security, never worked hard enough to get a lot. I still am employed, at least until May. I am exploring how to earn online. Had my taxes done, we should get some back. I do not know about investing, but I guess I should learn. My myLot situation is almost as good as our other friend @BarBaraPrz

Would your Social Security go up once you retire completely, that is, if you were not now living in the 4th Reich?

@BarBaraPrz I signed up for Social Security before the Fourth Reich. I hope that protects me in some degree.

Oh, yes. All in order. Until the Putz decides to cut it all off. I'm feeling so negative today.

@TheHorse .........my grandparents were Republicans. They would be horrified at what has happened to the party.

@celticeagle I was thankful for the Republican party, even when I was a Liberal child. I knew that my right to build "Peace Parks" and demonstrate against racism and the Vietnam War (even as my brother served in said war) was protected by Republicans.

In any case, we don't have any sort of dental coverage.
Plus private health insurance is pretty high cost in India.
We do have company paid health cover but that is valid only till we are working with the company.

Yes, I have my finances in order for this month. However, I do need to get new rims and tires for my car so that might change my situation.

Not any Financial Mylot plans for March.
I did have some good discussion & activity days in March, although a few days in February were better.
Here, Stock Market is finally seeing some uptick after weeks of downfall and "Bearish" sentiments !

@TheHorse because I am now adding Vocal Media links to my Wordpress blogs it took several months, When I did not do this it could take up to 6 months or even a year,

My goal for this month was to reach cashout. I am only a few cents short of the goal but we will see if I get there or not
