Not Feeling Better Anymore

On February 27th I posted "I Feel Better Now" and I really did. I had just heard Hakeen Jeffries speak in an interview. I really thought he had it covered. Then there was Trump's Congressional Speech. The Democrats didn't do anything. All the things he said and the many lies he told. It was just one more disgrace. I thought that the Democrats would do or say something, but nothing. Was it a measure of grace or one of complete incompetence? I guess I (and thousands of others) just expected more. Just file another legal document I guess. That's all I am seeing done. Is there really nothing good in Trump at all? Or his rich cohorts. I have even been thinking of changing my political affiliation from Democrat to Independent. What could hurt? I just feel so let down. Trump is nearly waging war on Greenland. He thinks he's changed The Gulf of Mexico. And, he feels the president of Ukraine was the aggressor. He finds at least one way of hurting this country each and every day. I don't see an end in sight. And, if and when there is an end how long will it take the civilized man who takes over to clean up Trump's mess? Or will he find a way to just stay in power? I feel so let down. And, no one I get feedback from seems to really care. Oh, it's sad and it's awful but they don't seem to feel the negative and horrible feelings that I am feeling. Sure I need to just let it go. Let it manifest itself and let them run over us all they can. I feel helpless. I want to do something. So we just continue along our way and hope for the best. Is that how it is going to be? Sorry folks. I don't mean to be so doleful (new word), so numb and ugly today.
