Many years ago I heard a story I dismissed without pause. Recently, I heard it again and accepted its truth. Not to delve into details; during slavery a master was beating his slave when a free black man intervened. After the free man walked away the master told his slave to find that man and kill him. The slave went off, found the free man, killed him, then returned to inform the master. The master then killed him. Since the election of Trump the Black community has been very quiet. Trump appointed a Apartheid supporter as his virtual partner, who destroys every piece of legislation and agency which benefitted non-whites. I know black people in the US who are drooling supporters of Trump, as were many Hispanics. Self Hate is rampant.
