The whole house is smelling jasmines

We had that travelling crucifix over yesterday and it is decked with jasmine garlands. I too got one and I garlanded the crucifix.
By night I could smell the jasmines They normally give out the aroma in the night I am up now and it is early morning The smell is still there It is so strong that I have started getting a headache.
The smel is over powering.
Have you ever smelt jasmines?

Yes, jasmine has a lovely but strong fragrance! It’s nice in small amounts, but too much can definitely be overpowering. Hope the scent eases up for you!

I have noticed it smells more during the night It has eased somehow.

Oh, yes, my first wife and I planted jasmine in one of our flowerbeds. You're right, they have a strong odor. We took some into the house but had to take them back outside when my wife started developing a headache from their strong odor.

Thankfully the crucifix will be shifted to another neighbour this evening.
There are some perfumes that produce the same effect.

@allknowing Yes, there are. My first wife used to wear a perfume called Pearls and Lace. If she wore it when I was around, it would make me throw up. I finally took the bottle of perfume and threw it away. I gave her a bottle of Chanel No 5 to replace it. (Pearls and Lace was a cheap perfume. I don't know why she liked it. 
)
