I love how Gwangsik mirror the true role of a husband inside the house: 1. His priority is his wife and his children and his parent is just a secondary. Gwangsik know that when a man marries a woman, his parents opinions becomes secondary. Whatever decision and plans he has to make he should tell it first to his wife and both of them will decide about it. 2. He was Never Insecure on His Wife. Though his wife is strong will, and have a high ambition than him, this never become a problem, but he support his wife 100% all the time. And because of that he gained a higher respect from her wife. 3. He is a Good Steward of Things that was Given to Him. Though the money that they use to buy a boat for their family's livelihood, he never get insecure but promise his wife and wife's grandmother that he will take care of it and make them proud, true enough he become a faithful husband and a good provider, in the long run, he was able to save and buy a house for his family and give them a much better life. Because of that, Gwangsik was able to lead and provide for his family. Life was not always good for them, but he remained faithful and a good husband and father -- and a good provider. A man's insecurity will do nothing good to his family can terribly destroy it. Do you agree?
