I'm up, I'm up!

Got up at 7am, peed, opened the blinds, checked the temp (-1°C/30°F), checked my internal readings... headache, right foot extremely sore, knee complaining too... So I went back to bed and immediately fell asleep again. But I got to see some interesting things... A guy I hadn't seen since last summer pulled up across my paved driveway (it's actually just gravel) in a small red pickup truck (never saw him drive one before). The pickup shrunk to half its width and only had room for one person but he offered to take me for a drive. I said, "I thought you were dead" to which he said he'd been by several times but I wasn't home. Then I noticed he had a huge woundlike hole in the side of his nose, and the dream ended. On to the next dream... I woke up in my childhood home but no one was around. I asked "Where's the lady with the baby?" meaning my sister. She was supposed to be there. I called my mother... no answer. I called my sister... no answer. I got dressed and went out the front door, then I saw them crossing the street from gramma's house. Not sure what happened after that but it was nice seeing my mother again. She looked so good. I miss her. There were other things that passed before my sleeping eyes... eating a slice of dried roast beef that was left out on the garden bench... trying to buy some beads... emptying crap out of my pockets... said crap including two lifeless butterflies... Oh, it was an interesting night, not exactly Dreams of the Rarebit Fiend, but when I finally got up at 9:44, my headache was gone and while my foot still hurt, it wasn't so intense.
