Trump is considering payments for the January 6 rioters

This is rich. While he loves to say that he supports law enforcement and his buddy Elmo is supposedly trying to cut government spending Trump now is open to the idea of creating some kind of compensation fund for the January 6 rioters who were convicted of crimes for the insurrection attempt. You know the people who beat, tased, maced, etc. US Capitol and DC Metro police. They literally trespassed into the Capitol building, defaced it, and attacked police officers. They wanted to kill Nancy Pelosi and Trump's own VP Mike Pence. Trump espouses them however because they were doing it with his encouragement in an attempt to overthrow the results of the 2020 election that he lost. Now he wants to PAY them with taxpayer dollars? With the taxpayer dollars that supposedly DOGE is supposed to be saving? It is bad enough that he pardoned them all on his 1st day in office this term. Can you imagine what could happen in the future if he also starts doling out cash to these criminals? Darwin only knows what they would do in the future for him including if he refuses to vacate the White House at the end of this term. (He is already publicly talking about a 3rd term which is illegal) If I could get the hell out of the US right now I would. He is a dangerous maniac.
