It was a good day / myLot

I woke up to a huge thunderstorm at five this morning. There was a little rain when I drove to work and walked into the building. Our high today was 81 F. We got to take my student to visit his school that he will attend next year. The students were not there, as the entire class (ten students and staff) visit the local nursing home on Thursday mornings. The head of our school food service came in to present a lesson and let the kids help make a strawberry smoothie. That was fun too. Tomorrow is Friday.and I am so ready. Spring is mostly here.

It's going to be 70 on Saturday but then in the 30s one day next week. In another couple of weeks we should see more warm weather.

I would be thrilled and energized to wake up to a storm. Sounds like a nice day. Our temp here today was about the same. A bit of wind came up too but no storm.

I'm glad you had a good day. And that does sound like fun. We reached 75F today instead of the 80F that was predicted. But that's okay because my bedroom was too warm and I turned on the fan in here. I just made hamburgers and French fries for "lunch". Delicious!
