Powerful earthquakes hit Myanmar

March 28, 2025 2:43am CST
Powerful earthquakes have hit Myanmar. Magnitude 7.7 and 6.4 earthquakes were also felt in Thailand and surrounding regions. Some roads have buckled, and there are reports of large blocks falling from buildings. In Bangkok there are casualties as buildings are turned to rubble. The region is used to earthquakes due to the Sagaing Fault line, but the poverty stricken area may need all the help it can get to repair the damage caused and to look after its people.
