Comfortable in my own skin!

Crazy how times have changed, I remember seeing adults with tattoo’s when I was a child and the stigma was that they were bad people, or at least society made it feel that way. I was always self-conscious of how people were to perceive me if ever I wanted to get a tattoo and refrained for years worrying about what others would think. Now in my Mid thirty’s, I could honestly give a crap lol. I have learned to love myself and I’m confident enough to express myself without worrying what others may think. Now im seeing all walks of life with all kinds of tattoos and its now something society see's as normal. At the end of the day, it does not affect my career and I’m %100 comfortable in my own skin. Have a blessed Friday everyone!

the perception of tattoos has changed! It used to be that only bikers, sailors, rebels or prisoners had them. Now it is an expression of self and yes you should be comfortable with your own skin before getting a tattoo

Yours are very nice. I am neither for nor against tattoos. It is a free world and I feel that everyone should be able to express themselves freely.

Tatoo's really have become such a common thing, it's almost more noticeable when people don't have them. As for me, I have none and never intend to get one.

When I was growing up, people with tattoos were a bit suspect, as you say. Now it seems everyone has at least one. I don't like them much but I accept that I'm probably in the minority. I hate seeing brides in beautiful white dresses with black tatts all over their back and arms.
