chocolate chip cookies!

I made some chocolate chip cookies this afternoon (semi sweet chips and chopped pecans) and I think I ate too many.
Or is there such a thing?
Yeah, I'm afraid so. But they were just so good! I've about given up trying to make gluten free sweets. Maybe I just don't have the right flour, there are several different kinds and blends. I do pretty good with other gluten free foods, but sweets are just an unattainable dream for me, apparently.
But Dale can eat a few regular cookies without too much trouble. Thank God he doesn't have celiac disease.
I finally quit eating and put the majority of the cookies in the freezer with a few to eat on tomorrow.
What's your weakness in the culinary department?

They do melt a little, depending on how long you cook them, I guess.

@1creekgirl When I eat those cookies I find them intact.

@allknowing They melt but hold their shape, then they harden after coming out of the oven

Especially when the cookies are warm out of the oven!

If you lived next door, I'd try your cookies.
I make pasta too often, according to Pretty... But it's one of my favorite foods...

I'd love to share those cookies with y'all. I'm not too big a fan of pasta, I like some dishes.

I thought about adding some white chocolate chips too, but didn't.

@1creekgirl White chocolate chips would be good too. I have had chocolate chip cookies with a combination of peanut butter chips and chocolate chips, and they were really good. And I do like chocolate chips with M&Ms added too.

Chocolate. Cookies. No pecans, though, allergic to nuts.

Lou, if you lived nearby, I'd bake you some nut free cookies.

Cookies would be my weakness as well, so mostly I do not make them.

She's right about that. It has no preservatives, so the only thing to do is keep things in the freezer.

My weaknesses are ice cream and jelly beans or any other jelly candies. I can't keep them in the house. If I do, I will eat them all.

Yeah, I really really like jelly bellies so I try not to buy them very often.

@1creekgirl Walmart is carrying a lot of George Howe candies. They have the best jelly beans. I ordered a bag of licorice ones since I doubt they will carry them after Easter. That will be my last splurge.

Chocolate chip cookies is definitely near the top of my list. There isn't a Reese's peanut butter cup I don't like; and while we're on the topic, hey I'd like that with some cheesecake and ice cream too.
