It is so funny to watch these silly animals.
We have five cats. Two are not bio brother and sister but we adopted them about the same time. Today one, Mittens, came running through the upper reaches of the apartment and startled me. Zoomed into my room and then down the stairs and back up. Then, after I had calmed down from that the other cutie, Whiskers, did the same thing. They aren't related either. Just silly cats that have lived together for about a dozen years.
I love them so much. They know it's spring and they're bored. We have some toys that we play with them using but obviously not enough.

@celticeagle Yes, it is. My husband's 2nd cousin usually brings her Pomeranian with her. He gets the zoomies but tires easily. He's more of a laid-back dog who likes to nap.

They each have personalities all their own.

@celticeagle Ah yes, no two cats even if they are staying in the same home have the same personalities.

I have 6 inside cats. Heidi is the oldest, she will be 13 in August. Onyx will be 8 at the end of June. Boris will be 7 at the end of May. Frank who was a stray I took in back in May of 2023 will be 6 sometime this year. Teeny, who was the last cat my wife ‘found’ will be 4 soon. Finally there is Braveheart who was born to the feral mother I have been feeding. He was born in 2023 and is the youngest. He walked in the house all on his own. He’s the sweetest boy.
Onyx bullies Teeny and Frank bullies Onyx. But lately I think the other cats are picking on Heidi. But I think it’s because they think she’s getting weak.

@celticeagle I just wanted a name for such a brave cat. His hair is so long I wasn’t sure if he were male or female. I wasn’t surprised when he was a boy I often find the boy cats are cut from a different cloth than the girls.

Great names. Sounds like Braveheart has your heart. Our female, Whiskers, bullied the other males. She is feisty. She chases her tail.

It's as if they have a hidden stash of Red Bull.

It was always fun when my puppies got that. Freckles could set land speed records after a bath.

And be dry by the time you saw him again I suppose.

@celticeagle — I don’t have any carpet in the house, so she’d always have to come back to me for more drying. She was usually pretty dry by the time I opened the bathroom door.

There is actually light now instead of the gloomy gray and darkness.

These do sometimes. But why only these two when we have 5?

I think they are happy it's spring time and there is more light and such.
