Cries from under the rubble

March 30, 2025 9:32am CST
I have read a number of news articles relating to Myanmar and the earthquakes. There were a many buildings destroyed, and surrounding regions also impacted. The saddest story I have read is that there are people beneath the rubble calling for help. Unable to rescue them, people on top of the ground are desperately trying to locate them. With limited resources, rescue attempts are futile, but they continue.

Tragic event with reports of over 1600 deaths. Yes, a desperate and sad situation for certain.

That is heartbreaking. It happened here in 1990 when we were hit with an earthquake in the area where the buildings were destroyed, there were people rescued days after

So terrible to even imagine, and it's hard to know that the rescues are not happening as they should.
