Home from church--we had a "good bye" party for a lady after church today who's retiring to Arizona. Now I'm home, and I need to finish that book I was reading. ... Spent the last half hour or so trying to find a ride to my appointment tomorrow. There's evidently no bus route that goes near the address (I checked) and then theres this new free bus-type service that I tried, but it only goes to certain places and where I needed to go was "out of their zone". Then I tried Lyft (which is like Uber, for those not familiar) and for some reason the app wouldn't let me in. So, I finally called the pastor's wife, and asked if she was available, and she was. Hopefully on the way I'll see a bus stop so I can use it to get home. Soooo...yeah. I pretty much had lunch at church, so I'm going to do like I said and go finish that book. I'm near the end, and when I was reading this morning while I was waiting for my ride, the detective was finally "getting a clue". Sheesh... Hope all is well with you in your part of myLot land!
