From the next financial year, which begins on April 1, the tax authorities of India can access accounts on communication platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram and emails under the provisions of the Income Tax Bill, 2025 to look for unaccounted income
This will be the first time that any Government is allowed to open private messages of citizens which I think is not right
What is your take on this?
