The firefighters were able to rescue the cat by dismantling the hood and safely rescue the cat who been inside the hood for a short time before the female driver was going to drive her auto.
The cat was taken by the firefighters in Charleroi to a Washington Area Humane Society where the cat will be placed up for adoption.

@Danielclark691 That is what I have noticed about the behavior of cats.

How could that happen? Did the cat get inside from under the car?

Most likely the cat wanted to get away from the heat and hide under a car hood.

I wonder why that took a major effort of dismantling the hood, as I would have thought most hoods can just be simply lifted up, and then the cat might have just jumped out of itself.
