There's always tomorrow...

I got all the way to the library today, and a guy was going to the door. He turned away and looked at me and said, "Oh, I forgot it was Cesar Chavez day."
So they were closed. I don't know if this is a holiday only California celebrates (I'm guessing it is) but that put a crimp in my plans. I turned in the book that I brought in their outside book drop, and went back to the bus stop. I wound up having two things to do today, and now I'll have two things to do tomorrow--get the books I have on hold and go and get the TB test done.
Right now it's 1:27 by my computer clock and I need to eat lunch, which I haven't had yet.
Hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

I did not that in your area it is Cesar Chavez Day, I guess different cities celebrate different holidays like in the greater New Orleans Area, Mundi and Mardi Gras are holidays where the stores are closed due to parades.

You can thank Obama for that. I looked it up, and it looks like six or seven states celebrate it. Oklahoma is not one of them. I have to say, it seems really odd to close public spaces for Cesar Chavez day. Oh, well. Maybe I need to open my mind a little.

I agree with you, and I'm not opening my mind.
