Trump keeps talking about a 3rd presidential term

Aren't Republicans the "law and order" party? Aren't they they ones who love the Constitution and their beloved Second Amendment right to own 100 guns? Isn't Trump the one who was stupidly pictured hugging the US flag?
For at least the 5th time Trump has mentioned the idea of him being president for a third term. Um--that is illegal under the US Constitution. There would have to be a Constitutional Amendment that passed 2/3 of both houses of Congress as well as 3/4 of states ratifying it. Yeah that's not gonna happen. 
One MAGA GOP Representative has said that he will introduce legislation to allow former presidents to serve a 3rd term as long as the first 2 were not consecutive. Guess who that would rule out? Obama. Hell it would rule out Bill Clinton too. Convenient. Another idea floating around is that JD Vance run in 2028 with Trump as his VP, win, be inaugurated, and then step down. In theory it could work but it would completely destroy any political future for Vance. I can't see him agreeing to do that as he is a young guy.
In any case Trump will be even older and in worse shape than he is now in 2028. It would be after he trashed the stock market, people's retirement/savings/bank accounts, and the entire world will hate us. Even if it were legally possible I cannot imagine him being put in a position to possibly have a 3rd term after just the past 60 days of insanity.

He's playing you guys, just like he always does. You can even see the smirk when he says it because he KNOWS you'll fall for it and go run to the hills with it. He plays you guys like a fiddle. It's quite hilarious to watch y'all stumble over yourselves with this stuff. Meanwhile, you guys get crazier and crazier, and he just keeps winning.
If you'd stop letting him make you all look like fools, MAYBE someone MIGHT take your side seriously. But of course, you guys can't help yourselves, and he just keeps playing you and playing you and you just keep taking the bait.

He 100% is not joking. Did you not see what occurred on January 6 in 2021? He pardoned all of the jailed rioters (who I thought were supposedly "antifa" 
) and pardoned other criminals in his administration and who supported him. He is sending the message that they can do it again and they won't face consequences. He has no respect for democracy or the US Constitution which is why he said it should be terminated and why he idolizes autocrats like Putin, Kim Jong Un, Victor Orban, etc.

Trump will be too old. Besides, he's done enough in this term already.
