Seniors and walking

It is not right for seniors to go for lengthy walks as they used to when they were younger
The thigh joints get worn out with lengthy walks. It is therefore recommended that they restrict their waks may be for 10 minutes at a time and repeat them a couple of times or may be a bit more during the day.
Because of my accident years ago my Physio recommends that I restrict my walk to just six mi nutes at a time.
