Good morning mylot

It's another good active morning. I teased George about sleeping in, because we went to bed by 1:30 and he got up just before 10. He needs his medicine, which I will give him him after I make this post. He's out in the sun a little bit and happily listening to the radio. So yeah. He got mad at me because he was tired and didn't want me flushing his tube before bed, but from a hydration prespective, I feel it's important that he gets his water before bed.
When he got up, he manged to make himself some pepsi, but asked for help to get it out the door. He's eating yogert and we bought hamburger yesterday. His eating is not consistant, but he's making the effort.

It's always great when they make the effort as well. My dad doesn't and he's fully capable of it. We're still constantly telling him to drink or to eat. He's not as young as he used to be and his old habits won't help him anymore. The problem comes when my mother has me talk to him, I can't so it though without yelling at myself.
We slept in over the weekend. I don't think I've ever slept till close to 8 in the morning since school. 8 was the latest I slept in because I was always told to get up and it stuck with me. I guess we needed it

There's an emotional aspect to it, that outsiders don't see. There's emotions that we go through, and have to go through. And it happens at our own pace. And for George, that took a year. Now he's driving again, and we fed the van yesterday.

George likes to have a certian ratio of ice to beverage. He managed to fill his cup with the required ice, but the pepsi bottle was slippery and giving me hell, but I got it for him.

I am glad you are having a good weather there. Its nice to enjoy the say under the warmth of the sun but not too much hit... I love summer.
