I read that Val Kilmer had died and I just couldn't believe it. I am seeing it too much in the media to have any hope of it just being another one of those falsehoods some sites enjoy nowadays.
No, it says he is dead at 65. I know he had been struggling with throat cancer since 2014 but I was thrilled when he was able to do the second Top Gun. I dislike Tom Cruise and would never have watched the second movie if it hadn't been for Val coming out of retirement to do it.

Darn. 65 is too young. He died due to pneumonia.
My favorite VK movie was "Tombstone". He played a great Doc Holiday. He was good in everything he did. I will miss his face on the screen and am happy there are reruns to be had. He was in such movies as "Batman" and "The Doors" and

There were a few but the one he did and his portrayal of Doc was great.
