Police officers in Akron Ohio answered an emergency call on Friday March 14 when a female goat was seen running on a state highway at night. The female goat proved to hard to capture since the goat managed to avoid getting hit by motorists. An Akron police officer managed to catch the goat after the animal ran toward a hilly and grassy area while another police officer managed to use his vehicle to slow down traffic. After the police officer managed to capture the goat, the goat was taken by a vehicle and then taken to an animal rescue group who took the goat to a farm where hopefully the goat will be returned to her owner. She needed a little adventure in her day. I always wanted a goat. Where I'd put it I don't know.

You are right since the media in South Louisiana point out the good qualities of goats eating grass and giving out milk.

I guess the goat did not like being in a farm.

It is good that such stray animals are rounded up quickly by the authorities, over there, as here, they are much more lax, and they allow a lot of animals to wander around unattended.

I hope so and I also hope that the goat will not runaway again the moment it was taken back to its owner.
