What's for dinner? April 2

What's going on the dinner table tonight? Share with us! I'm trying something new. I saw a recipe in the newest Food Network magazine that caught my eye but then passed the magazine off to my coworker without copying it. My bad. It was for fettuccine with baby spinach and a basil-walnut pesto. I know how to make pesto and might even add a bit of lemon juice to brighten it up. I'll probably top the pasta with a dollop of ricotta since I have some in the fridge. Why not? That's what is happening here. What are YOU having? Do tell!

I had chicken fritta ravioli carbonara for lunch at a restaurant this afternoon, so I’m eating the leftovers tonight.

I had leftovers…part of the chicken taco salad for lunch and leftover soup from last night.

Leftover brown rice with an egg or two stirred in. Swiss chard and maybe some kind of generic pesto and Parmesan.

Vince often reads a recipe then just makes up his own but incorporating ideas/ingredients from what he's read. Hope yours turns out well.

Use your imagination. I am sure you could put this together without a recipe. Hell, I could, and it wouldn't even be slop. lol For dinner I made baked barbecue chicken thighs and oven baked potatoes. I loaded mine with butter, French onion dip, bacon bits and cheese. Yummy.

@NJChicaa Doesn't surprise me. You wouldn't know good food if it bit you in the face.

@porwest artificial bacon bits are gross. I am fine with *actual* crisped bacon pieces. I had them in my jar salads this week for lunch.

As I mentioned before, we are going to pick up dinner at BK. Their original chicken sandwiches are good.
