The Very Stable Genius has announced his newest round of taxes. . . I mean tariffs.

This guy graduated from the prestigious Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania by paying someone to take his SATS, cheating, graduating, and now threatening to sue the university (and his prep school) if they reveal his actual grades. One of the UPenn professors has famously said that Trump was the dumbest students he's ever had. Gee. . . what a shocker that a stupid student who cheated his way through college failed at running casinos and went bankrupt 6 times. This idiot just announced some crazy-ass tariffs on countries which by the way are TAXES on Americans. The companies importing products aren't going to absorb those cost increases. They will be passed on to Americans so thanks MAGA for voting for that. Have fun paying your bills in 6 months. Good luck buying a car. Good luck buying groceries. I did not go to a prestigious university for business like Trump. My degree is in biology. I've never claimed to be an expert on economics or the stock market. . . but even I can see that these tariffs are going to screw all Americans in the pocketbook. Stock futures are already tanking. That is impressive since stocks have been sinking so much since Trump got back into office. Great job Trump! Good luck MAGA! Good thing you "owned the libs" by refusing to vote for the black woman.

Hey, our gas prices have gone back over three bucks a gallon. Are we great yet?

It's going to take more than a few months to get pipelines built, get permits approved, and build drilling rigs. Umm...DUH!

Australia is waiting to find out the worst. I know our beef is going to be heavily taxed and I think our pharmaceuticals.

The same people who have caroused around and rallied for DECADES to tax the rich and "pay their fair share," now carouse and rally against a tariff calling it "inflationary," saying "someone will have to pay for this, it's not free," and "watch the cost of everything go up," is HILARIOUS TO WATCH. Because when the left was crying about raising corporate taxes and EVERYONE ELSE said it would be paid by consumers, raise prices, and cause job loss and other things... Your side just laughed it off. It's really fun to watch the left try to make sense with an argument against their OWN argument, and of course NONE of it makes any sense, which makes it that much funnier.

@NJChicaa Where have you been in the last three years as inflation saw prices going up at rates not seen since the 1970s, when you ALSO voted for economic plans that would cause inflation to CONTINUE to rise? NOW inflation worries you? Give me a break. As for the long-term positive effect of tariffs, it will outweigh any short-term pain, and it's the long term we need to be thinking about here. I will try to explain it in more detail in a separate post later.
