He’s a Stand-Up Guy. Should I take him with me?

To my new place, that is. When I finally get the call. This is Sonny, my mom’s cat, who still believes he is MY cat, and a pretend sibling to my own cats which he really has no relation to. They beat him up on a regular basis, they know he is not related to them, but he ain’t no quitter. He insists he is a member of this family. He has stuck by my side through thick and thin, even temporarily while in this crappy prison cell of a room, refuses to go downstairs, sleeps right next to me while my own cats get jealous and mad, eats up here, plays with all the toys that are not his, and as you can see, does tricks at night when he gets bored. I don’t think I can leave him behind. I’ve already cleared it with property manager just in case. But he is still my mom’s cat. Or is he?

Even in pets there are bullying. Lol! Maybe sonny likes you very much that is why he is sticking with you and your other cats are jealous of him.

This is true! But he seems unaware… or just don’t care. (Rhyme) Haha Thank you @luisadannointed

I think he is your mom's cat and your cat.

Sounds like he has made the decision for you! Take him, I'd say.
