Good morning from this side of the planet. It is 9:05AM and a bright sunny morning with some pleasant breeze
.
I am sitting here after my 45 minutes of cardio( slow jogging and brisk walking) and 15 minutes of meditation.
. It feels so good after a good workout session.
. The house is quiet and I am enjoying the chirping of birds outside as I write this
. My daughter has gone to college and my husband has left for airport. He is gone till this weekend to meet his mother at his native place and also attend his school reunion.
I will go for my breakfast after some time of being here.
I have been missing from online space in the last few days...some fun with friends, weekend gateways are keeping me away. I am enjoying my vacation
.
And from Monday, I have been making rounds of hospitals and clinics for my regular annual complete body checkup. So, that took first half of the day and the afternoon got busy with my therapy sessions.
All is well with my blood routine, all diabetic parameters are well in control. My Calcium and Vitamin D are less and I have been given supplements for them. Even the diabetic eye checkup and neuropathy check up shows nothing concerning.
But the annual sono mammogram reports got us concerned. Two tiny lumps ( very tiny to be able to be traced) showed suspicious margins. I was suggested XRay mammography and under scanner biopsy as needle biopsy failed for such tiny lumps. These kept me visiting the radiology and oncology department in the last two days. Both of these tests could not come to a conclusive report, there was no suggestion of malignancy and it is mostly assumed to be benign fibroid development. But the oncologist asked me to be watchful and do self check up regularly. I have to keep going for mammogram every three months to make sure that things are in control. That's the update for now.
On other update, my doctor and I have come to the decision of undergoing a laproscopic hysterectomy, ovariectomy in first week of May. From the last 17 years, I am suffering from Endometriosis and I gof few bad phases. We denied surgery as it was too early for hysterectomy. I took steroids few times for few months to keep things in control. Now, some small cysts are back. That along with my menopause are making things worse and affecting my quality of life. I am 47 now and it would be good to get it removed.
So, that's a big update. I have a good vital and blood report. I just need to get the Calcium and Vitamin D levels up for surgery. And one month of complete health care to be prepared for surgery and for better post recovery.
So, May would be for surgery and recovery. Keeping fingers crossed. Good to get it done in vacation time and be recovered to go back to work in second week of June. Some precautions will continue for another few months.
That's all the updates from this side.
Hope all is well in your corner. Stay happy and healthy.
Moving on to reading your posts.

I'm sorry to hear your bad news and hope things go well for you in the future. Surgery always sucks but if you can have it during your vacation time, that is better and gives you more time to recover before returning to work. Good luck with it!

Thank you DE for the concern. The surgery is not the urgent and needed one. But we ( my doctor and I) made the decision as now it's impacting the quality of my life and my energy level. Things look good on other parameters, so we would like to get it done.

I am in the eastern part of the United States and it is now 12:04 AM (midnight), meaning I should be going to sleep soon. I too have Vitamin D deficiency and I take Vitamin D3 1,000 iu once a day and it helps. But as soon as they say it is over boarderline and tell me to stop taking them it starts going low again,
I am 63 years old and was diagnosed with Endometriosis also, and had a biopsy done showing Stage 1 cancer. A hystorectomy was done in January by a wonderful Gynecologist Oncologist.. I wish I had known I could of needed to have it done when I get older and I would of had it done years ago. However I was told that insurance won't pay for it unless a doctor recomends it. Having that for 17 years I am very surprised that your doctor didn't have it done already! I went to my surgeon for a post op check up after 4 weeks. I have to go to him for more follow up check ups every 3 months for 2 years.
Good luck to you, please keep us posted.

@arunima25 Yes the supplements help a great deal! However remember to go out in the sun, on days that you have it. I would like to move to Florida and get free Vitamin D in the Sunshine State, lol!
I had a doctor tell me one time that he likes the way I think.
I have other health issues too, I think that is why the surgeon want to see me so many times after I had the surgery. A lot of the lack of energy is also caused by the Vitamin D deficiency.I am going to all my post op appointments! And praying for the best from them.
God bless and praying for the best for you!

You are into a lot of health issues I see. Do keep a check.
Your week-end get-aways were much needed.
My friend is taking a capsule once a month for her D3 deficiency. I too got my calclium and D profile done but both are normal.

Yes. Nothing concerning but yes, I need to be watchful and take good care of myself. I go for regular checkup due to diabetes, I am very disciplined around that. So, anything concerning is caught at early stage.
My vitamin D is not in deficiency range, but on lower side. I need to boost it up for my surgery.
