Harris County Sheriffs Office (HCSO) officers were dispatched to the Montogomery County line on Monday March 24 when a trailer that had some of the steers opened up by accident which allowed around six steers to run on Interstate 45 around lunch time. The animals were being taken from Houston Texas to Bonham Texas at the time of the incident when the animals left the Houston Livestock Show And Rodeo. The HCSO deputies with the help of motorists were able to capture the six steers safely and return them to the trailer within four hours. The HCSO deputies are in the process of charging the driver of the trailer for not having the trailer secure. The good thing is that no animals or human were hurt in the incident. The motorists in Houston are used to dealing with animals running on the highway and they have told by the police not to engage with the animals on the highway.

That could easily have turned into a disaster.

Thar is true since the police are thankful that no animals were harmed in the traffic jam.

People take short cuts, without thinking things through, and a fine might at least, wake up this person to their cavalier attitude, and hopefully, they will learn their lesson.
