Oh my I have to go out again tomorrow night

A very popular local band, Shorty Long and the Jersey Horns, is playing at a waterfront place like 10 minutes away from here if that. The bass player is a permanent sub at work so he is here every day and he actually is the one who covered my classes in-person during COVID while I was teaching virtually. He would take attendance, set up the projector and Meet, and then I was the one who did the teaching. I would sometimes hear him playing ukulele or guitar in the background. When I returned to in-person instruction he saw me and said that he learned so much just from listening. HAHA I'm sure he learned more than the students. Anyway tomorrow night his band is playing like right around the corner. The coworker who made me do trivia last night said I absolutely HAVE to go tomorrow night since it is right in this area. She said she would pick me up but that I'd have to Uber back. That doesn't make sense b/c she'd have to get her car and herself back home and her BF doesn't live anywhere around here to pick her up. We shall see. Yes I can afford an Uber back here. It all depends on how much sleep I get tonight. I have work tomorrow as usual and then THREE hours of tutoring. I really do want to see the band but at the moment I am zombified after last night's late night. Stay tuned!
