Yesterday's trip to the bank and Title Bureau went pretty well. The teller took forever to deposit two checks that were made out to my husband. I'm sure she had to consult with someone as to what to do. All she had to do was stamp them for deposit only. The Title Bureau was totally empty!!!!! I was taken care of right away. No problem with the first 2 cars. The one we wanted to junk was a problem. They showed that it was already scrapped and that it had several previous owners. We bought that car new in 1996. They suggested that we double-check the VIN # that was printed on the original registration. It's always something. I need to get that car out of the parking space so they can put down the new gravel. My husband's 2nd cousin gave me a hard time over French fries. I don't know what her problem is; but she had me in tears. This relationship is not working. Still talking to my husband every day. I hope he hears all of what I have to say. I tell him I love him and miss him; and I never miss an opportunity to chastise him for what he did!!! Breakfast - None Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Pork loin, sweet potatoes, broccoli, biscuit, grapes Dessert/Snack - Banana walnut muffin Dinner - Burger King - Original chicken sandwich and some of the mozzarella sticks that were in the freezer from Red Lobster What did you eat yesterday? Maybe it's time you looked for someone else to help you but I'm sure it's not easy.

It would be very hard to trust a stranger.

Unfortunately, you are probably stuck with the second cousin for now, unless you could hire a helper or assistant. Maybe you should look into that or a home health worker that could take you to do errands. Subway, cereal, a hamburger.

@LindaOHio I guess the alternative then is to figure out what you need to do to make things better, or refuse to let her push your buttons.

Yes I am. I wouldn't trust a stranger the way I trust her.

Family, even distant family, is sometimes the wrong person to be your caretaker. I hope things even out for you soon.

Mistakes can be so irritating. Especially when it is on their side. Your pork loin dinner last night sure sounds good. I love pork. Don't get it very often.

I am sorry that she reduced you to tears, that makes me so sad. What about the other cousin, was it her daughter, that was there with you for so much, Christmas and everything else? Can you reach out to her on occasion and maybe then all of the time, although these errands will not take forever.

She is working sometimes 10-12 hours per day during the week. She would be unable to spend time here doing the decluttering and downsizing that is needed around the house. Her mother hasn't even finished with going through the stacks in my husband's TV room.

I am sorry the relationship with your husband's second cousin is not good. It's hard to hire someone you do not know and replace her.

Chicken taco salad nachos! I figured since half the taco ends up on my plate anyway, I’d mix the ingredients and the rice together and then eat it with tortilla chips. It was very good! Chicken & cheese sammich and rice for dinner. Apples, fiber, yogurt.

I'm glad the checks were not a problem and the first two cars didn't cause a problem, too. That's odd about the car you want to junk, though. I'd be curious about the VIN number, too. Something doesn't sound right. Your hubby's 2nd cousin needs to go... I know it's not going to be easy but she definitely isn't the right person to help you... (Once in a while Pretty tries to control what I eat... I'm an adult and have free will. It's not up to her to pick my meals.) I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast, a bowl of rolled oats with almond milk and a tablespoon of sugar for lunch... Then ate a small ham and cheese sandwich for supper around midnight.

Call a junk dealer. You might not need to have that one in your name. Just need a title for it. Make sure you have the right title too.

I'm sorry you and the cousin aren't getting along but I do understand why you don't want to look for someone else to come in and help. AT least you got your stuff done yesterday so it probably feels good to cross it off your list. Last night we had burgers (no bun), baked potatoes and broccoli

Glad you got so much accomplished yesterday. No one should tell you what to eat, enjoy life!

I made my world famous "pepper steak," which isn't actually a pepper steak like you'd get at a Chinese restaurant or even world famous. lol. I just usually take round steak or sirloin steak and cut it into strips and brown it. Then I add onions and a bell pepper, in this case it was an orange one (sometimes I put in mushrooms, but not this time). I also had some green onions and threw those in. Then I add a couple cups of beef broth, usually oregano or Italian (this time I used oregano), some minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce. Let it simmer a bit, then add in a packet of brown gravy mix and then toss in cooked, white rice and mix it all up. We had poor man's garlic bread on the side. Good eats!
