A Sad Ending

I came across a video on YouTube about what was found in Val Kilmer's autopsy. It seems there were signs of malnutrition, of unhealed wounds from earlier surgeries, and of muscles breaking down. There were also prescribed pain medication found in his system. He was a spiritual man and I think he knew his time on Earth was over, his body was breaking down. It just took awhile for his body to give up completely. The pneumonia was the last strike when he already had trouble breathing and could only talk in a whisper. How very sad.

It is the fate of everyone isn't it? How I wished that we can be healthy forever.

He could have chosen to take better care of himself there toward the end.

It is hard, but not surprising after the health battles he had fought. Sometimes your body cannot fight any longer.

But he could have had help from family and doctors to make the last portion of his life less painful.
