Hot springs are amazing natural pools of warm water with a number of benefits. Loved for its minerals, which might help the skin, and leaves a soothing feel while taking even just a quick dip. Iceland's springs are hot enough to boil eggs, while Yellowstone's springs can melt things because they are very acidic. In summer, springs like the Champagne Pool in New Zealand, with its fizzy bubbles, offer a unique way to relax after outdoor activities. The nearest one from where I live, and obviously a personal favorite can be found at Mambukal Mountain Resort in Murcia, Negros Occidental, Philippines. The resort is known for its ofuro, a sulfur bath inspired by Japanese culture. The warm water is believed to soothe the skin and muscles. Surrounded by waterfalls and lush nature, it’s a perfect place to relax. How about you, have you ever tried dipping in one? These warm pools are not to be missed no matter the season.
