I had known my BFF since I was 15. She was the older sister of a gal I knew in junior high. She was an unpublished writer. She turned me on to Edgar Rice Burroughs, Andre Norton and some of the better SF writers. Although I was never into that genre like she was. She got me interested in writing.
She was a great person and a wonderful friend. She three brothers and two sisters. She made me apart of her family. I was "Sis" and "Auntie". She had a son who died early of cancer. She has a daughter too who is living in their house in Oklahoma.
She and I had some great adventures together and i have alot of wonderful memories. I often miss our talks and how much she helped me in so many ways. She was a sweet, kind and loving person. She had a great sense of humor. She believed in God and never put me down for being an Atheist.
I wish she was here in reality for me to talk to tonight.. I know I feel her presence from time to time spiritually.
I miss her. I have no one but family members to talk to. Sometimes it's hard to talk to them about certain things.
She was a dear. She died December 20, 2021 of a massive heart attack. I was shocked and still can't get over her leaving this Earth so early.

I am sorry. I lost two long time wonderful friends in the last few years and it hurts so much. I don’t know any words to say to make it better, I wish I did.

I am so sorry. Even though none of us live forever, it's still sad to lose someone who means so much to us.

Thanks. I am lonely for someone to share things with. Our families are sometimes the issue. In my case anyway. You have been a good friend and I wish we could chat more often on FB.

My sincere condolences. It's always so hard to lose anyone we love but a best friend is the hardest person to lose.

Yes, a best friend is very hard to lose. I have another that I thought was a good friend and she accused me of stealing from her when I stayed with her once. We are no longer friends. I finally blocked her on FB due to her insane ideas about gays and this country. She's all for Trump and whatever happens to get the job done is okay by her. What a whacko!

And then we come to my rather odd situation. When I returned to the states I did because my best friend since the 6th grade said come to Florida so we can be together again, I did and live in an apartment above her apartment in a two story house. She suddenly passed away two years ago and we barely got to enjoy each other again and all the good times. So being poor I just stayed on and her husband would help me out if I needed things in regards to the PC and other tech stuff, Now her husband has gotten ill and is in a rehab and I am living above her three grown up sons.

I'm so sorry for your loss as well. People tell us it is a part of life. Doesn't help.

Yes, the same one. She was a strong woman and put up with a lot in her lifetime.

Yes, it was such a shock. She had gone into a hospital to have some exercises to strengthen her one leg after some issues.
