Is it over yet?

I don't know about you but I sure hope the worst of the worst is over I've been watching the news on a lot of areas that got hit & MAN I don't think we could go another 2-5 days more of what we just got. I haven't seen that kind of weather in a LONG time, it got bad here that it had me worried about if we were going to get flooded out it got bad enough it washed part of the road out, but still useable. I live not far from the lake, I think I'll take a ride to see how high it is, & then go to the park here they drain the lake to drop it to see what it's doing, cause we got like 7-8 inch's of some HEAVY rain. How did you all fair in that mess? did you get any damage? do you still have roads or you flooded still? I hope you all made it thought it without any damage or got flooded out. I hear we got another round of this mess & MAYBE that will be the LAST of it, right now the cold front has to show it's self, then another blast, THEN it will be the REAL spring. Hope we never see weather like what we just went through lord howdy, the good lord has his days of waking people up when he want's us to know he's not happy about something.

There have been some flooding issues close to home, but luckily, our direct area hasn't been impacted. I am thankful for that. Not something I want to deal with if I don't have to, but we are an area prone to this sort of thing being very close to the Mississippi, Illinois and Kaskaskia rivers and whatnot.

@2ndchances24 I never consider myself immune. Be it floods, tornados, or whatever other disaster might be down the road.

We had some heavy rain but no flooding or damage. I hope the heavy rain is done for those in the flooded areas.

I think I heard we have more on the way, but not sure how bad it will be depending on when it starts & what the situation will be on what it does get started. This guy here gives us the best outcome on the storms

No, but the only real problem we have is the only road to get in & out just about got washed away which isn't good being the county or city won't fix it.

@RebeccasFarm Yes it would have been, but it was in his best interest to do what we had to do.

@RebeccasFarm Yes it is & was, not to sound bad or anything but last Monday is when I had to put Brutus down & just after that is when all that weather hit, & if I had of waited any longer I would have been in a BAD situation in getting him buried.

After the middle of April that's when the weather will be where we can relax from all the bad storms.

The sun’s out here in Louisville. Mostly dry for the next week, but they had to cancel Thunder Over Louisville because of the high river (they shoot fireworks from barges on the river).

There's always next year maybe, we took a drive to the lake & to the park where the lake drains into & they were both full so fishing is not going to be good for a few months till it gets lowered down a bit.
