Yummy dinner today (yes, another dinner post!)

I cooked a pot of veggie soup for dinner today. Used venison burger and sausage, plus veggies with cabbage, green beans, carrots, potatoes, ketchup, bullion cubes, onion powder, salt, pepper, and of course a little sugar. I had a bag of shredded cabbage so I chopped it up very fine in my chopper to make slaw, then added mayo, mustard, chopped sweet pickles and a little juice, pepper, and a touch of sugar. It was soooo good! A friend at church yesterday gave me a container of chicken salad and one of pimento cheese, so we have lots for late snacks tonight. Last night we sat out in the shack out back for the first time since last fall. It was so enjoyable. There was a slice of moon out and we heard owls looking for a date. Our cat Gracie always joins us on the grass outside the shack. She won't come inside, I think it's her PTSD. Anyway, a nice day yesterday and today. Hope your day has been great.
