I've just been to the little Tesco again. The gardener was supposed to come at 11:00am today to put sand on our drive after it was cleaned last Tuesday. He arrived at 10:35am just as I was getting ready to go out to the shop! I didn't want to have to be traipsing over the drive when they were putting the sand down! My Mum gave me her shopping list, club card and TV magazine voucher and £60 in £20 notes because she wanted 8 1st class stamps (before they go up in price again!)
I set off quickly. The guys had left two bright yellow brooms at the end of the drive which I had to negotiate, but there was no sign of any of the guys, and they'd left the side of their van open.
When I got near the shop I noticed that the thing that was over the entrance to the car park opposite the Tesco had completely gone. I think it was something to stop vehicles that are too tall going through. I previously said it had been damaged and half of it was twisted round to the other side. Well, all that is left now is a stump of rock or stone to indicate where it used to be attached to the ground!
I went into the shop and discovered I had a stone in my shoe which felt quite large and was hurting and irritating. So I made my way to the magazines and then I took off my shoe and shook out the stone. It was rather large, so I'm glad I got rid of it. Then i put my shoe back on. I don't know what I looked like taking my shoe off and putting it back on in the middle of the shop!
I got the TV magazines, then I got some chocolate croissants for my Mum and Syd. There were no brown bags today, but they had something that was transparent where the bags usually are. I thought they were just sheets at first, but then I examined one and found it really was a bag, so I put the croissants in it.
Then I got a snickers bar for Syd and some malted milk biscuits for my Mum. And then I went round to get some strawberries. My Mum wanted 2 lots of strawberries, but the strawberries today were in a large square container, so I just got the one.
I treated myself to another little notebook and some pastel coloured pencils which were down from £3.15 to 75p, and it said reduced to clear.
Then I went and got 2 bottles of milk and then I went to pay. I asked for 8 First class stamps, and then, with club card and TV magazine voucher, it came to just over £26.
After I'd payed, I set off for home. Outside the door to the Tesco there was a little Jack Russell doggy, and I said, Hello little doggy! I crossed the road and made my way home!
When I got home there was no-one around still and the yellow brooms were still in the same place so I had to negotiate those again. When I got in I took off my shoes and coat and then I gave my Mum her change, shopping list, club card, TV magazine voucher and her 8 first class stamps. I went to the toilet, then I unpacked the groceries and put them away.
Now I'm watching Homes Under the Hammer again!
What about you? What are you doing today?
I hope you are all well.
Have a nice day.

@celticeagle No, me neither. It makes me nervous!
I've never heard Wynne Evans dog Ginny bark in any of the programmes he's been on with her.

I wouldn't know. It's my Mum and Syd who eat them!
They are yes. But I remember when I was little we used to go to my Great Grandma Cantrell's house, and they had a couple of Jack Russell dogs. They would greet you in the hallway and bark their heads off and it made me nervous!
