I finished listening to Taltos by Anne Rice. It is the third and last book of the Mayfair Witches books. I had read Lasher and I listened to it again after I had watched the Mayfair Witches show. Of course the show had changed some stuff from the book. I never read Taltos and it was on my to read list. I had put the audiobook on hold and it came available last month.
Big Warning: there is some violence.
In this book, Since Lasher and Emaleth are dead, Rowan is not herself. She does snap out her funk when one of the Talamasca is run over. Rowan and Michael go to London to find out who killed him. Asher, a Taltos like Lasher, wants to know this too. He learns that the head of the Talamasca was one of the ones behind it. Asher kills him. He also meets Rowan and Michael. They find out another Taltos was hidden away. The Talamasca put the men behind the attack in a pit and they take care of the woman Taltos. Mona is pregnant with Michael's kid who is later named Morrigan. Morrigan is another Taltos. Asher takes Morrigan away.
I liked this book.

Now a days, it is not a mistake to say that you listened to a book. Would have been considered something spoken by mistake unless you were into a story telling session. Audio books are getting more popular and convenient. I am yet to try one. Glad that you liked the book.

I used to listen to some comedy authors while driving different places. I haven't listened to anything in several years now.

@DaddyEvil That is a good idea to listen to something light hearted and humorous while driving.

@snowy22315 yes. My mother has been listening to book via youtube while she works. Although I tried to listen to one book on youtube and the guy who read it didn't read it right and I couldn't handle the voice so I had to stop listening to it so I put that book on hold at my library.

@grenery8 these are witches not vampires. But I will be listening to one of her vampire books that mentions Asher and Morrigan.

Audio books are a great device, aren't they? We listened to some on a long car drive once. They helped pass the time.
