I dyed my hair over the weekend

Well actually my neighbor did it. Chantal ghosted me back in January. I just gave up and deleted her number. I might have even blocked it because I was so annoyed. Then my neighbor's roommate came over here twice--once to do roots and another to trim my hair. It was fine and we had another time for her to come do them both again. Yeah she blew me off and then said she was going to the gym between 8-10pm so she could be here at 11. Um what? I go to sleep at like 8 or 9. I looked on a few Angi-type sites for hair but there were no mobile stylists and the prices listed were off the charts. No thanks. I had a box of drugstore dye in the bathroom and decided to just go for it. My neighbor was here and said she'd do it. It came out very dark brown which is a different look from what I've had over the past couple of years but it is also pretty close to my natural color. She asked if I was upset it was so dark and I said "no it is just hair. It will lighten up." The students are funny. When they saw me with my darker hair they all complimented me--even older teenaged boys who I definitely wasn't expecting that from. It is funny what they notice and remember. I can say that "oxygen is the final electron acceptor" 20 times in class and they still get that wrong on the test. They notice when I wear blue khakis 2 days in a row, have new sneakers,. . . or dye my hair.
