Dining table and chairs coming today

My dining table and chairs that I bought at Bloomingdale’s are getting delivered today. I hope everything will go smoothly. Last time they delivered living room furniture they ended up damaging a little piece of the wall by the stairs. And the bathroom door frame has a damage on it as well in one area. I know they didn’t do it on purpose. But it’s still screwed up. I’m more bummed about the bathroom door than the wall. Wall can be fixed if we really wanted to do it but not the door frame as the coating on it was torn off.

They have not contacted me yet about the replacement. I wonder if i should call them myself.

That happened in December of last year. I doubt they’d do anything anyway.

@lovebuglena Don't they charge insurance fee for any damages happen to the products because of them?

They were careful. Thankfully, damages were minor.

Good luck with this. Moving big items, and even little ones, can be problematic sometimes.

It went well except they kept postponing it so I couldn’t leave the house.
